Ed Potash, Charlotte Stricker, Tom McAvoy, Mark Stricker, and Cynthia Ogorek, at Butterfield Creek

hey, it's Mad Mac's March Month
Matteson's Mayor Stricker and his wife met Mad Mac, as he marched up. Museum Director Ogorek then caught up with them, after she and I had driven on ahead (after leaving the foot contingent in Chicago Heights) and made a stop at the Matteson Historical Museum (which is two blocks north of U.S. 30, on School Avenue.)

Lincoln Hwy traffic streams by, in the heart of Matteson
The mayor declares September to be Mad Mac's March Month.

Mac could chat about the Lincoln for ages but it's time to hit the road again
Tom uses his key to the village to continue on his walk across Illinois' historic Lincoln Highway.
