We walked along with Tom a block but he then left us behind, as he headed down Sauk Trail. The Lincoln Highway enters Indiana (out of photo) to the left. U.S. 30 follows the later route of the Lincoln Highway to the right. The original route of the Lincoln Highway disappears into the trees of the forest preserve in the center of the picture.
